Slow internet and prayers for a friend in Taiwan

Wah this lack of internet access is stifling! I actually have to work! *shudder*

I hope the problem doesn't lie with Streamyx alone, or I'll go ballistic. But since many international sites are slow or not working at all (Paypal!!!! I need my Paypal!!!) they might actually be absolved of wrongdoing for once.

I hope all is well in Taiwan after the earthquake. I have a friend visiting family there and I can't contact her to check if she's ok. So, its quite worrying. She and her family will definitely be in my prayers till I hear from her.

Lets hope things get back to a semblance of normality soon.
